1. stealing money and property from the citizens they’re raiding

2. murdering a harmless disabled elderly man from Utah and then covering up their crime by refusing to release the body cam footage. Because the corrupt FBI murdered the man in cold blood.

3. Spying on President Trump's campaign and participating in the Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX by Comey, McCabe, Baker, Strzock, Page and others

4. The corrupt FBI being caught spying on Catholics and targeting parents who dared question elected officials

I don't think they realize the slippery slope effect here, and that it can easily work the other way. If they think the FBI is "corrupt" for defending themselves against an unhinged, heavily armed lunatic pointng a gun at their faces, who knows how much they'll allow "their side" to get away with.

Thanks for confirming that just because of the actions of a tiny minority, you want 35,000+ Americans to lose their jobs. Highly specialized jobs that they spent years training for.

The FBI as any large law enforcement agency does will find issues with specific agents and other employees and the OP here clearly indicates they are willing to prosecute their own when misconduct is discovered.

In theory I would agree with a flush and reboot on a number of government agencies but then we would just repopulate them from the same fucked up system that created the mess we are currently in now.

Fact is sometimes FBI agents have no choice but to end the life of people who have crossed the line. They need to investigate political figures from time to time and when those people lie and commit fraud then action needs to be taken. By definition much of what the FBI does will ruffle the feathers of 'the other side' when one party is in power. If party politics is all that matter to a person then they will always be mad so no amount of flushing will solve anything.

Until our government is faced with actual accountability and we the people have options that range beyond ego driven twitter junkies or past their due date career politicians who can't remember if they are actually President or not we do not have the ability to enact actual reform.

The Chinese spy sex tape story broke in 2020 if I remember and dated back to sometime in 2015 or 2016 and remind me who was the FBI chief reporting to at that time?

The chief executive is ultimately responsible for misconduct in Federal agencies right? Pretty sure I read that sentiment in this thread somewhere.

The 'dossier' was a mess as well I do recall Trump filed some lawsuits over those in an attempt to discredit the content which is seen as largey untrue or exaggerated in Florida and even the UK. Those were dismissed without merit as I recall.

You consider the nation’s highest law enforcement apparatus blatantly interfering with a presidential election a “smudge on their record”? Wow. They didn’t dismiss the dossier, they used it as a predicate to surveil Trump’s campaign knowing full well it was false.

I consider a sitting President attempting to tamper with an election quite disturbing and again ask who was overseeing the Justice Dept when the FBI was investigating Hunter Biden?

We can talk for days about the dysfunction within large Federal agencies like the FBI and how the process of one trying to investigate issues that effect others with any effectiveness.
