Also received 2 scam calls from India. One wanted to give me a new SS card, the other wanted to fix my cable service.

The idea that democrats want “broke ass dependents” is about as looney tunes as it sounds. And deporting working age people when we have a 4% unemployment rate doesn’t make sense. Implementing 25% generalized tariffs on our largest and most integrated trading partners is just stupid.

From my point of view this is just going to raise prices, increase inflation and raise interest rates accordingly.

That’s just going to make more broke ass dependents as well as broke ass retired people.

I was referring to Trump's tariffs which means imported goods. Tariffs are not only meant to generate revenue for the government but also to increase domestic production of these goods. To do that requires increased domestic blue-collar labor like manufacturing and factory jobs.

Anyway, I kind of just went off on a tangent about other labor that is not here domestically, hence me rambling on about white-collar labor that could be here as well. My bad for going off on a little tangent.

My point was that those blue-collar jobs are not coming back to the states regardless of those tariffs, but many lower tier white-collar jobs could be brought back through incentives (tax).
