A full payment goes a long way towards VIP service and treatment. If you are short on cash of coarse it makes sense to pay this minimum

I agree with JohnDough that one can get very good standard service for a lower or negotiated price and I agree the prices he quoted will be adequate. Just like there is difference between a standard airline frequent flyer and one with executive platinum status, customers that negotiate lower prices get standard service not VIP level of service.
