My father's people endured generations of public disapproval to include bullying, disrespect, humiliation and genocide . . .for generations, even centuries. Only they called it antisemitism. There are folks dealing with that today. . . .but they celebrate and embrace who they are and go on with their lives to do productive things.

The same sort of things may be said for people of Asian heritage. I invite comment from anyone with Asian heritage.

One cannot disown one's genetic endowment; it must be celebrated and embraced. Those who feel that they must become something other than their genetic-self need counseling and psychiatric therapy.

To be clear, your official position is that bigotry and hate speech should be accepted because some people (not all, just some) managed to survive (albeit with trauma) anti-Semitism? Why not acknowledge that they survived it AND be against it? I'm not really sure why this is an either/or and you're doing a poor job of making a coherent point. Perhaps I just misunderstood?

I'm also curious about what exactly you define as becoming "something other than their genetic-self", irrespective of the trans issue. Trans people obviously don't actually change their genetics since that's impossible. They do change their body parts, appearance and hormones. However, so do other people. Diabetics change their hormones when they inject insulin. People change their body parts all the time via plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures like haircuts. I suppose getting a haircut is trying to change a person's genetically given long hair? This is silly, but you've failed to outline your ideas. They don't seem very well thought out, but I invite you to clarify.
