Homan's leverage over Adams is lost

DOJ played stupid games and lost. The charges against Eric Adams have been dismissed and cannot be brought again.

The idea was that Adams had to play ball with Homan on immigration enforcement or the charges would be brought again.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Now the leverage over the crook is gone and the case against him is as well.
... Adams already talked...

Adams was a tool.

Put there, either too dumb, too black, too smart, or not black enough.

I honestly can't figure out which, state hit him, feds hit him, and what?

I think the feds saw the same issues, and walked away.

Local politics, ugly, but local.

... Adams just dumped on the Democrat party - gonna run as a

things to share concerning New York and corrupt politics.

Pardon my skepticism of your analysis, but anyone who’s ever been within 100 miles of Trump should be nailed to the wall, IYO. It’s a Boy Who Cried Wolf situation. TDSrs gonna TDS, but most normies won’t take it seriously.

I didn't mention Trump. DOJ had solid evidence of corruption by Adams and played the game wrong.

Adams has no leverage. Maybe against Democrats

Mayor Eric Adam’s Drops out as the Democratic candidate for Mayor, and Announces He’s Running as an Independent

 My Thoughts:
While there have been independent Mayors in recent history in the city of New York, I feel he simply has too much baggage to overcome against such a stacked deck in the Democratic Party primary. He simply has no chance. He knows it.

He will win the Independent ticket because he will take his democrat voters with him.

So this is either an effort to hurt either the democrat party or the Republican Party, in the General Election when he get’s there.

With recent events, where democrats have targeted him, and his all of the sudden chumminess with Tom Homan and President Trump, and touring conservative networks, I say he is aiming to siphon votes from the Democratic Party to help the winning Republican Primary Candidate in the General Election.

What do you think?

As long as he's mayor he has no reason to be concerned about those charges hanging over his head when they want to implement their immigration policy.

They burned their best card and he left them with egg on their faces
