There’s some good women pilots out there, she obviously wasn’t one of them. Not so sure this is a dei thing as much she was bad at her job but had a big ego. It’s a dangerous combination, even moreso in an aircraft.

I hadn’t seen that. I’ll withhold judgement until something comes out saying that that relationship got her a position she didn’t deserve and wasn’t qualified for. You’d be surprised by the egos some military pilots develop, even if they’re still trainees. Certainly this isn’t the first time someone ignored a much more experienced instructor, this one just had a terrible outcome.

U.S. Army Capt. Rebecca Lobach at the White House press room, January 24, 2023, via Samantha Brown.

If you read TGP link you’ll see the picture of her in the WH press room.

She only had 45hrs flying a Blackhawk which is a complex aircraft. DC is the busiest airspace in the country. Flying at night is more difficult. This squadron flies VIPs and foreign dignitaries around DC. You have to be good to be chosen for this. Does 45hrs flight experience qualify?

No way, my time with nods don't make me special forces, but they do help at night.

The toilet paper tube view is accurate.

Amazing but with blind spots.
