I thought that that is exactly what President Trump ran on . . .and got elected to do.

American citizens did not get any due process when the Biden Administration just let them in.

Now, back to the topic of the OP:

Most of my family immigrated to the USA sometime after 1900 and before WW-II. I have seen the record of their lawful entry for each of them is in the books at Ellis Island. Each of them could document their naturalization as well.

President Biden, or whoever was actually running the nation's executive office, let in a torrent of ten million unrecorded foreign citizens without any paperwork. Why can't we run them out again without paperwork?

and they were naturalized because why again? before that they were illegal aliens.

Illegal? Quite the contrary.

My father had a visa to enter the USA in 1935. Same for my mother's father 1907.and so on. They had gotten their visa from a US consulate in their country of origin. At Ells Island they were in-processed and given whatever documentation established their legal right to remain in the USA at that time.

The record of their legal entry is online.

That is pretty much the current process to legally enter the country today.

great!
now let's give out work permit visas for migrants who are ready to bust their asses in the u.s. instead of wasting time and energy deporting them.
