While Duquense Light continues to struggle to restore everyone's power, Fiori's has gone from catastrophe to condemned to reopened at almost lighting speed.
Plan on picking up some pies around noon

The important thing is that you tipped REAL good. Was the first pizza I had back when I was 2 years old and a weekly haunt in my formative years. Took my first ever date there after a football game. Got my wife's fam to fall in love with the place. That greasy cheese. Chewy crust. Sweet in that sauce.Well, I’ve been going there since Highschool when it opened in the mid 70’s. I grew up in Beechview and we moved in 68. Back then, there was Campitis on Potomac. No Fiores or Betos. My Grandparents lived in Beechview until they passed. So I frequented all three pizza joints on my visits with them. That’s why I call it the pizza triangle of Pittsburgh. But Badamos replaced Campitis and Slice and Jett’s also are there. Can’t go wrong with any of them.
Those metal plates and silverware always bring me back. The crushed red.
Was my go to during CoVid as well, and you stood on the usual line with all the same old faces from the neighborhood Originally Posted by HDGristle

He uses the large food purveyors to purchase his ingredients. Like Sysco or American food service. His dad owns Capital ave. He uses top quality ingredients. That’s why they taste totally different. I’ve asked the people at Peter’s why. They told me their ovens aren’t as seasoned as Capital ave. Which is bullshit. If you’re out that way, Harry’s pizza is the bomb. Hieslers is second. It’s a grocery store but has wood fired pizza oven. Really good.
The other spot doesn't exist to me
For the others... a reminder of Portnoy's visit to Fiori's back in 2020
