What are you streaming right now?

I haven't read all the posts, but for me
Arrested Development
The first 3 seasons is as good as any comedy I have seen.

The other seasons aren't bad, but the first 3 are great.

I have watched the entire series at least twice, and will watch it again.

Fuck Disney. Just when you finally found a show you like and are willing to invest your time into it.

ALIEN: EARTH

2 episodes premiere Tuesday August 12th and one episodes each following Tuesday for 8 episodes on FX On Hulu in USA, Disney+ in UK.

This is an awesome trailer.

That looks like the same ship layout as the Nostromo in Alien 1979

I actually have hope for this series because all 8 episodes are written and produced by Noah Hawley, the producer of the FX Fargo TV series.

I love the Alien franchise!

It’s definitely worth watching for anyone who has seen all the movies, even (or maybe especially) if you haven’t been impressed with those that were released after Return of the Jedi.

One question about Andor.

In the very beginning of the first episode of the very first season, Andor is searching for someone and that triggered the whole rest of the season.

Did he ever find that someone?

It seems that the writers forgot about it for the rest of the series.

I don't want to mention whom Andor was searching for because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the series.

John Krasinski passed on a 5th season of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan in search for bigger paychecks and movie fame.

This is what he found and it's not good.

Just read these reviews:

Just like many Television actors and actresses before him that had a good TV series going and let greed of more money and fame impaired their judgement.

The remainder of their acting careers went nowhere.

Examples:

Farrah Fawcett had a 5 years contract on Charlie's Angels She asked to be released by ABC before the first season even ended because at the time, she was the hottest thing on TV and she thought she could capitalize on it and become a movie superstar.

Her movie career went nowhere after that.

Suzanne Somers left Three's Company before her contract was up. She too thought her popularity on the "Jiggle TV" series would guarantee bigger paychecks and movie fame.

Her movie career also went nowhere after that, later relinquished to making stupid ThighMaster infomercials that aired during late nights overnights period.

Shelley long leaving Cheers at the height of her popularity on the TV series thinking she will become a big movie star. Her movie career also went nowhere after that.

Harry Potter getting a reboot series on HBO.

It will never be good as the movies.

I wasn't a kid when the first movie came out and I didn't read the books:

I only knew it was a story about a kid who gets recruited by a magician school and yet I still enjoy the first movie and all 7 sequels.

Crazy that Emma Watson is 35 now. She really hasn't made any big high profile box office blockbusting movies since the Harry Potter series, has she?
