There's nothing in the 2019 Kilmar order about MS-13. You keep adding facts not in evidence, counselor. It had nothing to do with the decision. And yes, the Trump admin is bound to follow that order.

The civil misdemeanor illegal entry doesn't warrant the same response as other crimes. That's why it's a civil misdemeanor and routinely waived as part of our asylum rules. And depending on the time spent and distance, the rules are also different. Some of those rules have been in place far longer than the Joe Biden years.

I know a guy who took every bit of 13 years to get a green card despite doing everything right. His case started during Dubya's admin.

Ask Congress to change the laws you're unhappy with. Comprehensive immigrstion reform is badly needed. Not Executive overreach

Ask Trump to hire more immigration judges and to not put as heavy of a focus on arrests and allocate more heads to USCIS. Those two moves would help slash through the backlog that he had a part in making so damn deep. Would be an effective use of dollars and a move to do right by those who ARE doing the right things but are stuck in line waiting way longer than needed.

And while that sheet was included as Exhibit 4, the immigration judge didn't grant him anything because of it, nor deny him anything because of it, or rule on whether it was or wasn't valid. In fact, it was determined that gang membership, real or alleged, was not the basis for the order to withhold deportation. It was his status as a member of the Abrego family, who had run afoul of the gang due to his mother's papusa business in Guatemala.

Strongly suggest you read the order withholding his removal. It's enlightening. Btw, you know that the Trump admin didn't appeal that order, right? And that order is why he wasn't deported.

The Trump admin has legal methods to pursue that they should pursue if they want to deport him. I don't have an issue with it if they do so, as long as they follow the law too.

It's stuff like that which helps explain why Trump's numbers aren't higher. He's inviting the legal challenges with his administration sloppy work.
