Oakmont proving its might!

After 2 rounds only 3 players under par. Some of the best have missed the cut. Rory had to birdie 18 to make it. He was throwing clubs. Bryson was 10 over, he’s gone. Scottie was arguing with his coach after his round. Several players caught saying “fuck this place”. It’s what a US Open is supposed to be.

But there is good news for the players. It’s calling for rain all weekend. Should soften up the course and make the greens slower. Time will tell.

Lowry was so frustrated he picked his ball up without marking it.

I was a Marshall at the 94 Open. Went to 18 to see Arnie walk up 18 for the last time. The crowd was incredible.

Are there many Negro players?

Didn't the membership have one token?

Play is underway on Saturday, nobodies tearing it up even though it’s wet.

Oakmont has knee-capped the top 10 in the world through two rounds, who are a combined 70 over par. Day two was full of comical, and not so comical, temper tantrums and mental meltdowns. The defending champion missed the cut, Scottie Scheffler missed a lot of fairways and greens and Rory’s most solid strike was a tee-marker. Which gives us a very bizarre leaderboard heading into the weekend of the US Open. Nonetheless, Oakmont and the US Open will make a star of somebody come Sunday evening.

Well, after 3 rounds 4 players under par. Spaun is playing exceptionally well. I don’t think he’ll win. I’m pulling for Adam Scott. He’s the oldest under par, but the best swing and a Masters champion. We shall see.
