Trump's Birthday Parade a Dud

Trump ≠ The Military. The title is Trump’s Birthday Parade a Dud. Originally Posted by txdot-guy

Your lack of support is reflected onto the military even though 47 is your target due to TDS being greater than anything else for a lib.

It was most definitely a trump parade. I doubt those were even real soldiers marching. Most likely paid crisis actors.

I've never called the military "losers" or "suckers". I have more respect for them than that. Originally Posted by tommy156

Now you're mocking and laughing out loud at the US Army's 250th birthday celebration.

If that's respect, I don't want to know what you view as disrespect.

Roughly 6 in 10 U.S. adults, including 80% of Democrats, 72% of independents and 35% of Republicans, said the military parade was not a good use of government money, according to a poll conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research earlier this month.

I’m not going to debate the fairness of Trump being seen as responsible for the parade but it was certainly less popular than the “No Kings” protests. In fact it’s my opinion that people avoided the parade because they didn’t want to support Trump but they also didn’t want to disrespect the troops by protesting on or in the general vicinity of the parade.

trump parade. Had nothing to do with the military. You're wildly off topic. As usual.

The accident occurred on the evening of June 16 – two days after the parade – on New York Avenue while a contract truck driver was hauling the tank from the West Potomac Park staging area to a railyard in Jessup, Maryland, according to an internal Army document obtained by USA TODAY. The truck was part of a larger convoy of vehicles.

You gotta have BETTER opposition numbers than THAT, mate.

... Hmmmm... So the parade was "LESS popular" than the
"No Kings" rallys?? ... That said - I surely believe that the
proof of the pudding - so to speak - will be in the eating.

Which means the polls. ..

... Trump's Military Birthday Parade? ... Go take a gecko
at some of the polls concerning Trump support of military and
use of National Guard. ... THAT will show what's more popular.

2 latest saw a plurality agree that he overstepped, actually.

But back on point... this parade was sad asf. The soldier holding a drone up like a pizza was just painful to watch.

The Army deserved better.
It’s so weird that Fetterman called it a military parade and not a Trump parade. I’m really starting to like this guy and I don’t want to.

“With the military parade, there was no goose stepping. Stop ever comparing anyone, anything with the Nazis and those kinds of things. That's crazy. Remember, that's our soldiers. That's not an occupying force."
