Site Down?

I am unable to log on to or find the usasexguide site. Does anyone have any information about this site has it completely gone away or just simply having problems. I know that it was under a big denial of service attack a few months back and they had resolved those issues but it seems impossible to even find it with an internet search so I was curious if anyone had any information sorry to post this here but I can't find anything about it with a general internet search on any number of search engines. If it would be more appropriate you may send me a private message if it is not suitable to post that information here. Sincere thanks MJ

It’s been that way for a few days at least. It seems like it comes and goes. I usually check back every once in a while and I am able to get on. I don’t know what’s going on with it. But keep trying, it will work eventually.

Yeah I haven’t been able to get on it for about a week or so either.

You can get on it, just have to google it with the city you’re looking for and use the google link. For some reason the main homepage won’t work.

I’ve tried that many times the past week and just now. Still no bueno.

A couple of months back they had been under attack from right wing groups overseas who don't agree with the object of the site. I suspect the inability to access it at this time is from some of the same sort of hacking attacks. Hopefully they can get everything sorted out and get the site available in the future. If I hear anything new concerning a way to access site I will post it for all the members but for right now it still presents the same information of bad gateway. MJ

Here is what works for me. When you get the 502 error , in the search bar remove everything to the left of the U in the web address then hit enter.

Thanks for the tip unfortunately that doesn't work for me. I am using the Yandex browser and I've never had any trouble in the past because of the browser that I'm using. I also continue to try it with all available search engines and the results is still the same 502 bad gateway Angie. Oh well maybe they'll get whatever is wrong fixed before long otherwise I guess this site is just dead for me! MJ

Okay so I did some research and a 502 Gateway error is about 99.9% of the time a problem with the site itself. Upon looking at several internet sites that check the status of a particular URL it does show that the USA sexguide.nl is up. Coupling that with the information about the 502 Gateway error what can cause that error is if the site server is overwhelmed. This can happen when there is a ddos (denial of service) attack. This is likely what is going on. This happened a few months back hopefully they can find a solution before too long. The site seems to be working but because of excessive traffic because of this attack it is largely unreachable! MJ

This site continues to be unreachable for me. I was curious if anyone had heard any pertinent information about it in any other Forums such as Reddit Etc that you might belong to. I pretty much scoured the internet to the best of my ability and I can't find any information saying that the owners of the site have closed it or any information that they might have posted concerning the current status of the site. If anyone knows anything or has run across any information in other forums I would seriously appreciate it if you would share that information here thanks so much. MJ

It’s def not closed/shut down. I’m on it right now in a different tab. Using IPad. I’ve scrolled through the feed and I’m afraid I don’t have a suggestion….but the site is up and running.

Bamaguy is correct. My browser gets the 502 error code. But when I search in Google: usasexguide.nl cityname statename it works everytime. I am using an Android tablet. And folks are still posting, just not as much.

Maybe it's an Android consideration I'm not sure. Every time I try to connect to the site no matter the link I get a bad gateway 502 Angie error message. I have tried this both on my phone and on my Android tablet. Both of which are running Android 15 not sure if this is what's causing an issue. I have used every available search engine using the address usasexguide.nl and I get an error message every time I have also tried the suggestion of using the state name and city name in the address and it's the same story a bad gateway 502 Angie error every time. I have tried searching on every Forum that I know and I can get no information about problems connecting to the site there are some information sites that show that the server is up and running but also on those sites are many reports that indicate the site is down so there is something wrong and it has nothing to do with how the address is typed in. If some of you that seem to be able to connect to the site would pose the question as to what's wrong or what could be done for other people to more effectively connect I would really appreciate you doing that especially if you would kindly post the information here. I have played with my DNS address I have even tried using a VPN to try to connect and nothing works apparently for 99% of us the site is unreachable it had not received the amount of posting lately that it did in its Heyday but they were still plenty of posts on a regular basis I don't know if that has fallen off since the bad gateway error that seems to be common with almost everyone. I had a friend of mine who is a famous poster both on that site and this one and he gets the same sort of error both on his Android phone and on his Windows operating system computer so something is definitely up there. Based on my research a bad gateway often indicates a site being overwhelmed by traffic I know that this was the problem a few months ago when they were being assaulted by hacking group that did not agree with their type of material being posted. I guess unless something miraculously appears out of the blue this site is dead for me and I really hate to see that happen as I have almost 1,500 posts there and found it a very useful source of information.
