As I started to note in another post- the whole drill baby drill, (total bullshit) mantra and rally cry- is just another bunch of horseshit. Imagine it's 2014 and all the gas exploration companies- just bought up all the marcellus shale leases they could- then the bust of gas prices went down faster than a hardon at grandmas rub n tug. They learned the lesson of don't put all the money on top of the land- when you need to drill holes down into the land; Most of those oil production companies went belly-up despite there being a need for gas- OVer Production is as big a problem or worse than under production. Sadly- this administration has greenlit the exporting of NAt Gas to overseas consumers to the point that gas prices will have no other choice but to go up. Go up to match the purchase prices overseas which are Way higher than here. Which means you're gas furnace and gas fired turbine electric companies are going to have to start charging more to keep up with costs.

Overall, gas for heating will likely go up 25% -50% and electricity costs will go up an additional 15-25%.

In Trumplandia- it's only EVER been about profit and keeping money in his own pockets. Sell while the buyers are buying- Whether it's bullshit or incompetence etc., he cannot be in charge of anything economic- per his MULTIPLE bankruptcies.

No he won't. The tariffs are working as Navarro told him it would, cept in places like Minnesota where electric is through the roof. Poor folks who believed that tariffs would go to offset and even a playing field, but I doubt highly, that the monies would help lower costs to consumers- despite the tariffs ultimately being passed down to the CONSUMER!!

But those poor Minnesotaians....Those poor ppl are hostages to Canadian prices and reciprocal tariffs on electrical supply. Plus if he wasn't such a stupid ass, Trump would have started with - lets build up electrical suppliers who are already online-and give them incentives to build either new plants, or nuclear plants to put online.

There were a lot of upcoming projects in the pipeline including upgrades to the grid that were cut from the OBBBA. Electric demand is going up because of the flood of new datacenters coming online to feed the AI tech demand.

Renewables and Nuclear were going to power these new technologies but that happens only if they are approved and the infrastructure needed to distribute their energy is being built.

Trump seems to think that our existing coal and gas infrastructure is going to be able to meet demand and that’s just not possible without spending billions more than necessary.

Until then higher prices due to supply and demand issues will not only increase prices for the consumer but they will bleed into manufacturing and distribution costs as well.

All this is going to be feeding inflation and suppressing demand until things equalize.

We're not going to get lower prices by struggling to restart old coal plants, meanwhile you have Trumpybear out there Halting almost completed wind and solar projects.

What happened to this campaign promise? Why is he actively acting to increase energy prices for the American people?

There was a giant wind farm off NJ...100 MW and Trump hates windmills....guess what happened.. this is bullshit that monies promised to electric companies is being halted. What a fucking waste.. wind and solar cannot fulfill the needs ..we need large nuclear plants....5-12 yrs in the making. Oil n gas can go fuck themselves for power production...


We still need lubricants etc....so there is always a need. But between the nuke plants, and alternative energy sources ..it's literally 3-5 yrs till fusion plants are everywhere and electric cars....fucking oil and gas companies can suck it.
