Noem brought her own camera man just in case CBS tried this stunt.

The longer you trust the deep state corporate media, the dumber the rest of us think you are. Silly Democrats
... CBS - once again with MORE fakery! ... Dan Rather must be
very proud. ...

Dunno 'bout you, but alls I see here is a Golden Opportunity.

Trump will likely get $15-$20 Million from them.
Certainly will have to shed another lefty, late night host or two.
Too bad it wasn't ABC. Might have been able to shed Jabba "Whoopie" the Hutt from the view.

Yup, all upside coming from it - IMHO.
Smart on Noem to bring her own crew too.

Their news fakery goes deep into the corporate DNA and is not limited to trick editing.

This fake news shit with CBS goes back as far as the 1970s when they were caught faking a car crash to "prove" that a particular make and model of car would expose from a rear end collision.

Today, with the courts amenable to defamation and so on, it looks to me that CBS just stepped on their own dick.
... I do understand that CBS may film a 40 minute interview with somebody,
and then have to fit just 20 minutes of it into the broadcast.
So THAT would leave some of the interview NOT shown.

... But it's STILL no surprise the CBS surely seems to fancy
showing onley the "clipped-out" parts that favour whatever narrative
- true or not - that CBS is peddling.

... How Sad...

How much of what she said can be proven true. Sounds like a bunch of unproven accusations to me.

Should ethical news organizations be compelled to publish every piece of propaganda that the government spews especially if they can’t verify the information provided?

the real question you need to ask is should ethical news organizations intentionally edit out content they don't agree with politically?

You can see the difference here.

What Kristi Noem did was tell unverified statements to push the narrative that Kilmar Abrigo Garcia is somehow an evil criminal gang member and pedophile with no proof whatsoever. Presumably as a sop to the MAGA faithful.

The sad thing is that if the Trump administration would just stop lying and trying to defend their mistakes (by lying) they could have quietly deported Garcia months ago.

It’s so sad that the people in the Trump administration are so bad at their jobs.

it's so sad that the Democrats and liberal media are so pro illegal immigrant criminal that it's killing Americans and they don't care.

now about that cunt Leslie Stahl. we've hashed that out and Stahl claim is a lie. here's once again the incontrovertible proof. the video ..

this wasn't edited for time/brevity as Stahl claims. the answer was COMPLETELY REPLACED with a different answer.

If I were the editor, I would have left it in, because it makes for more entertaining television. It sells commercials! That's why Fox News gets more viewers than CBS news. And why Fox paid $787.5 million for slandering Dominion Voting Systems while CBS got off for only $16 million for maligning Trump. As one of my high school coaches said, "go big or go home," and "no pain, no gain."

The CBS announcer should have been fast enough on his feet to state the allegations were unproven.

And I find Leslie Stahl to be a hell of a lot more truthful and ethical than a talk show host like Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report”.

See the problem with that?

He is not. They broke the law when they deported Garcia to El Salvador in the first place. Then they broke the law when they couldn’t get him back. Then they were in contempt of court when they ignored the judge’s ruling to get him back.

They are not. There is no law that requires city, county or state governments to provide assistance when dealing with border patrol.

This is a lie. Watch the full video I provided in my original post.

CBS always must push their-own bullshit narrative
over everything else.

I like to watch the news without all the bullshit that doesn’t need to be there.

The Fox news channel is straight up conservative propaganda.
