Well, I am a retired Chef so my Pumpkin Pie is best! But I am more partial to Pecan Pie myself. The secret is in the crust. A lousy crust will ruin any pie, especially a soggy crust. Also, if you have a family that won't eat a whole pie, consider making a few small pumpkin or pecan tarts. That way each family member can have whatever they want. And Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream of course!!

piefalootin sells pie by the slice. You want the whole pumpkin pie, you need to call them and order 48 hours in advance.

I wish I had the time to make some warm, sweet, tasty, creamy pies.

Homemade are the best.

Just not enough time in the day anymore.

Those 2 places I posted, they do have good reviews but I ain't paying $45-65 for no pie.

Lubby's always makes great pie. Pecan is my favorite.

Love a Texas Pecan pie but it seems like store bought is nothing but a gallon of corn syrup with some crushed pecans scattered on top.

Miss those homemade pies heavy with whole pecans and o not overly sweet and gooey.
