The better plan is to show up at the polls during primary season when there are actually candidates on the ballot who aren’t extreme one way or the other. Too few people take the time to participate in the electoral process at that stage, so we get what we deserve.

Obviously use your brain, you'd pose your concern most as "I see these deportations are removing hard working positive members of the community and I've seen it devastate my local school and I'd much rather strongly prefer these resources be allocated to tackling violent crime instead" (true story btw of ICE agents going into schools and deporting kids there) or whatever recent local news happened in your area.

Almost all the girls that are here at AMPs aren't trafficked, there're all here of their own free will because you can simply make more money in the US than in China. I spent a few years in that country and picked up some of the language, so I'm able to speak chinese to these girls every time I visit an AMP, and of the 30+ amps I've visited this year all of them told me they got into this trade bc it simply makes them more money than whatever they were doing back home (some are former hotel staff, waitresses, or also worked in the sex trade back in China and they came here because they make much more money doing the same work). Hell some of these girls even pay smugglers money to come work here because the earnings potential here so much outweighs what they can earn in Asia. There might be an unlucky few that are actually trafficked and if I ever across one I'd do my utmost best to help them out of their situation, but so far in my entire Dallas experience I haven't come across any Chinese girl that was actually trafficked, and I've been to a ton of places.

I just heard this is real. In Frisco, know now 7 massage parlors checked under premise of license check, massage board working with ICE and police. They are detaining girls in l1 and l0 stores that have work permits. If girl has massage license and green card then fine. Otherwise they are being detained. In an L3 suspected store they offered the girl choice of volunteering deport or face prostitution charge. She signed to deport.

Sad, but unsurprising. Easy pickings, and if they are going to be efficient they might as well hit all the massage joints in a city in a single day or two.

I bet they aren’t even using decoys for the prostitution “busts”. They could simply find some evidence of sexual activity during their “inspections” and use that to threaten a prostitution charge. Knowing how the feds are treating immigration cases these days, it probably doesn’t take much to convince these women that the threat is real and to accept the deportation offer.

I expect more of these stories to follow, depending on how anxious city governments are to curry favor with the feds. Conservative Collin County is full of towns like that, although even some of the less-red counties may be signing up as well.

I'll just say this: I don't feel any safer because some working ladies from the Far East who might've been here illegally got deported.

Sure, deport the MS13s, and the Tren de Araguas, and the Bloods and Crips if they're here illegally, but deporting asian grandmothers puts the lie to claim they're getting rid of the "worst of the worst" to make our streets safe.

And it's not as if these jobs will be filled (or "completed") by middle-aged American women!
