This place was shutdown due to location and the volume of traffic. Next door barbershop was probably getting some loud detailed noises of some very happy mongers and massage therapists....

The barber shop was not next door, so they weren’t hearing any noises.

The phone number, as far as I could tell from my own google searches, wasn’t tied to a legit massage business. Whenever I googled it I only pulled up these reviews. If it had been, though, I likely would have done something similar to the OP.

Literally the dumbest thing I've read all week.

Saying that your statement was dumb is not an ad hominem.
Not sure what you're referring to on another thread, but I'm guessing you're wrong on that as well.
It's not dumb though, if you disagree with him feel free to make a craiglist/facebook/offerup ad and type your full number in the contact information and or listing details and watch how many robo calls, stupid questions, and unsolicited offers you'll be flooded with, that's why people on there don't include it or scramble it. People also do this on porn sites when people ask for a name so that the video/content doesn't get DMCA'd

It is objectively useful in certain cases and this is one of them, it won't stop people from re-typing it or finding it somewhere else, but minimizing it helps to some extent from google searches, bots, and data scraping.

You are objectively wrong and it's not too late to just eat a slice of the humble pie, instead of continuing with the tough guy boomer take...so yes haskelham is right...thank you for your time

If that were true then there wouldn't be any AMP's left. Meanwhile, you have hundreds of AMP's within an hours drive, many getting reviews for 5-10 years and have never had so much as a uniformed visit. So no, it's not objectively useful. The statement and has no basis in fact.
