Is downtown Houston dead?

I’m right downtown by Discovery Green and it’s like a ghost town.
I know it’s a Monday but still.
Several years ago it was a lot more active plus easier to see some company. Now it seems like all the ladies are 30-40+ minutes away so not really cost effective.
Kind of sad and lonely!

It sucks but that's the way it is, there's zilch action to be had downtown, unfortunately. I don't know if there are any known bar-fly spots downtown but maybe another monger does. Good luck.

Most ladies do out calls to downtown these days.
Going back to the early days of my hobby years there used to be 4-6 Spamps down there. 3 of them were over on St Emmanuel street. This was before that area gentrified.

Now it is dead & the Spamps are on the outskirts.

I *STILL* remember the "Aloha" on Bagby street. It was the best bang for the buck in its early years. Never knew if they had an "upper management' but the pricing was excellent. 140 for a FULL hour (often times the girls would go over & you could get 2 nuts) the rooms had beds, not massage tables build out of 2x4's & plywood. Parking was safe as Bagby was 1 way only (southbound) & you pulled into their lot on the south end then parked facing north behind a fence.

Nobody could park across the street to see who came & went. Leaving was fast, out Bagby, turn left on the 1st street, turn left on Brazos which took you up to St Joseph's parkway & back on 45 north if that was your way home, else hop on Elgin that turned into Westheimer going west, or go east & hit 288.

This was a HOUSE.... not some strip center.

I don't think many city downtown areas are that bustling with provider action...

For one. there's no place to park... without costing an arm and a leg...

Much more action on the West side of Houston....

I travel there but would never host there... action-wise, Covid ruined that. BTW, is the ice skating rink not there this year? (Just wondering )

Cost me 31 bucks to park there yesterday. I was pissed. Plus you have to do it through your phone. It was a PIA

Not as many people are going out to the bars & clubs either, nobody wants to pay inflated prices & mandatory gratuities for shitty service and watered down drinks.
The lack & cost of parking has already been mentioned.

My in-call is literally only 7-10 minute drive, just outside of downtown, very central.

I fucking hate downtown. I was there last week for a provider, and then yesterday for one and then today for jury duty. It is such a pain in the ass getting around. The only good thing about downtown is it's only about 30 minutes from my neighborhood.
