Trump's Claim
In January 2024, Trump responded to fabricated AI images by posting on Truth Social:
"I was never on Epstein’s Plane, or at his 'stupid' Island".
He also advocated for new laws against AI, citing the fake images as evidence of its risks.
Contradictory Evidence
Official records and investigative files released by the DOJ on December 23, 2025, tell a different story:
Flight Frequency: An internal email from a federal prosecutor released in the latest batch of files indicates that Trump traveled on Epstein's private jet at least eight times between 1993 and 1997.
Specific Passengers: Logs show that on at least four of these flights, Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell was also on board.
Family Presence: Other passengers listed on these flights at various times include Marla Maples, as well as Trump's children Tiffany and Eric.
Notable Trip: One flight in 1993 listed only three passengers: Epstein, Trump, and an unnamed person described as being 20 years old.
While the flight logs confirm Trump used the aircraft, the DOJ and FBI have stated that many other documents in the recent release contain "unfounded and false" or "sensationalist" claims against him.
