No they weren't. It's better for their bottom line to improve efficiency on proven wells vs the capex of upping their rig counts. And a good chunk of those efficiencies started under the last guy.

We're oversupplied in 2025. Probably will be in 2026 bar some significant changes, though the Permian is running out of wastewater capacity so we may see a scale back in production since current prices don't warrant the time and cost for new storage

So enjoy some lower prices at the pump. We're still too high for the promises that were made as well as some recent comments about being under $2

Those were the days

Oil prices are expected to fall further in 2026 to as low as 51 a barrel.

Expect prices to stay low unless a Venezuela or Ukraine war escalates.

3.17 again at Sam's in Westmoreland county. No difference really in last 3 months....saw a low one week of just about 3.00. Wonder why Donnie can't change gas prices??

Oh yeah, cause his office has 99.9% of nothing to fucking do with that.

There is a company (Phoenix Energy) up in the Dakota sands offering 9-13% on bonds...sold 3 million barrels which isn't much to invest in at 10% bonds. They own a dozen holes and equipment at high costs and selling oil bellow profit levels....inferior oil as well. Lots of sulfer It's far better to own southern wells and those like re-production wells by fracking in tx or Ok.

Tell us what Trump did to make gas or oil prices go down? Is it steeling tankers off Venezuela??

Thank you President Trump for the improvement in gas prices over the last 12 months.

2025 (Jan 1 to Dec 31):
Started at ~$3.08/gallon (January average) and ended at ~$2.84–$2.89/gallon (late December/early January 2026 readings).

Net change: decrease of about $0.20–$0.24/gallon. (Sources: AAA, EIA reports)
