DG's gone

Girls and staff showed up today to locked doors at DG's. Club is closed permanently. The dancers and staff were not allowed in to get any personal items. They will be mailed to them instead. Some rumors around that the club is facing a class action lawsuit, though no confirmation of that at all.

While there will be those who will miss the club, I don't see this as a bad thing for the industry on DFW. Given the constantly declining patron counts, I think DFW has too many clubs and and a few closing would not be a bad thing. But, Pink's is opening at the old old V-Live location next to XTC at midnight so who knows?

Had some awesome nights at DGs always great music and the best SC wings I have ever had.

I saw Pinks was going to be opening soon as it’s near my office, But I got the impression that it wasn’t a strip club, more of a bikini bar?

Big misunderstanding?

So DG's is facing a not uncommon lawsuit in the industry of the dancers claiming they are employees, not independent contractors. Apparently, the owners locked the doors, which make sense, at least until the lawsuit is finished. Some clubs have lost these lawsuits in the past others have not. Other clubs get nervous about these suits. Will be interesting to see the outcome
