Hey everyone!

Super excited that Buc-ee's is finally coming to Kansas City! Ground broke near the Legends area, and they're aiming for a 2027 opening. Can't wait for the brisket, Beaver Nuggets, clean restrooms, and all the fun merch.

Who's planning to hit it up on opening day? Favorite Buc-ee's snacks? Let's talk about it!

See you there,
Jazmine <3

Hopefully QuickTrip learns a lesson when the Beaver cuts into their business. It's near impossible to maneuver with a boat or horse trailer through a QT lot to get to the pumps. The "newer" air pumps are a useless joke. And, the QT bathrooms are almost as bad as independent stations.

We need a Buc-ees on Hwy 29 near the Airport.

I never understood why QT bathrooms, especially the platte city one, are garbage. They have problems with water in that bathroom all the time.
Jazmine says they have beaver nuggets, maybe they can offer just beaver! Lol

Exactly my point CC,

I've been through a few in Texas (including Katy, TX) pulling a long horse trailer. And, they have the ethanol free gas.

Few QTs are designed to be truck stops. Just as you wouldn’t take a horse trailer through a McDonalds drive thru, you should probably stick with places that cater to oversized truck/trailer vehicles. Like Buc-ees.

I like Buc-cees when I travel. The food is great, but most of it is messy so I usually don't get any because there isn't a place to sit down and eat.

Every time I drive by the Buccee’s site, they are working like gangbusters. Crazy to think that they are still estimating a 2-year construction period. It’ll be entertaining to see once it’s opened. My family who have stopped through them in the South say their jerky is pretty good (although I DO make pretty darn good jerky myself on my smoker)!
