Time to talk guns again, actually gun safes

DEAR_JOHN's Avatar
I'm looking for a medium sized gun safe

I looked at Cabelas, Bass Pro shops, and Academy but didn't find anything I cared for.

Does anybody know of a location with a bunch of gun safes where I can freely look around?

Thanks in advance.

I got mine at Saylor safe and lock. They had some on display and some catalogs you can look at. Not sure what part of town you live, but look for locksmiths near you and call to see what they have.
I call BS on this. Real Texans just throw all of the gunz and ammo loose into the bed of their F-150s. No pussy locking cap, hard cover, or even tail gate needed. Big bull balls hanging off your trailer hitch and you're ready to roll, cowboy style!
Real Texans don't spell guns with a "z".

Carters Country is the way to go.
John, Murdochs and other places offer sales all the time. I believe safes can be located on sale by either googling or using sites like Craigslist. A friend of mine got a brand new one, on sale, at Murdochs recently. Try Tractor Supply also.

There's a safe and lock store on I10 in the area around Carter Country. I bought mine there. Large selection.
