Despite all the warnings, a lonely middle aged woman sent $ 50,000 to a fake love scammer promising her affection. The police and news stations got involved and were able to find and apprehend the scammer.

At the end, the news man said, "Only date some one you can see, and that buys you a drink."

Her reply, sobbing uncontrollably, "That's the problem. No one ever buys me a drink."

... So, WHO was behind the scam??

... Of course I surely got a wise and crackerjack solution
to the whole problem ... IF the scammer is actually a
real person - have the lady drop the police charges
and allow the scammer to keep the money $$$$ as a
"trade-off" for the love and affection ...

... See? ... Problem Solved! ...

The scammer was caught by law enforcement.

The point that was interesting is at the end, the news man advised her only date someone you see in person that buys you a drink. Her response was one with head down, in tears, that invalidated the news mans advise.
