Found this one who has one (1) review on LC and decided to take the leap. I never do outcalls and it’s been months since I’ve played in the hobby so I’m not exactly a regular with anyone. Her bio seemed legit and our back-and-forth conversations had me convinced but once I sent that $30 deposit, it was crickets. About 45mins after I sent it I got a message that she forgot to hit send on a message that she was on her way and that she was 15mins out. An hour later I’m writing this post.

So for any mongers out there, beware

I think a lot of folks have learned the deposit lesson ONCE, especially when it was new. Usually its a dead giveaway with some broken English and a couple of phrases you see repeated over and over in a weird way in ads, but there's def some local hood rat providers out there with no intention of following through on a deposit outcall..

I am pretty seasoned, and always said no to deposits. However one night a couple years ago, lonely in a hotel in a VERY low activity town, the only provider I messaged that responded back pulled a slicker version on me. And I fell for it.

Requested the outcall to my hotel. Convo was pretty normal, and everything went as it usually does. If you've done this a while, you know that the less than upscale providers work completely on "hoe time", which is similar to island time, but much slower and clueless.When they say "Im 30 min away" that means 30 mins from thinking about starting to get ready to leave for another client, do that QV or half hour, THEN head your way. So when she was being slow, I wasn't thinking much about it.

She did txt me an update that she was sorry she was running behind and she was out of the shower and headed my way after quite a bit of time had passed. I think I had initially confirmed her coming over around 9pm, and at 10:30, she still hadn't arrived...She was communicating, but nonetheless.

I still wasn't worried, since this was a no deposit meet, and there were only a few providers in this town anyway I could find, so they prob aren't high volume/pimped/pro scammers either and eager to earn when it comes.

Then she messages me: "Hey babe, I am 15 min away, but stopping at the liquor store, I need to get some condoms, and I like to have a drink or three as we unwind - can you send me a few bucks for the booze? Ill get whatever you like, just let me know".. At first I avoided it, but she insisted, we had some back and forth too. She sent a pic of her holding a bottle of some bright colored shit only a stripper would drink asking if that was ok to buy too, and clearly in the liquor store. She sent me several pics I asked for of her, including one in a liquor store (it was her) and it was VERY close to the liquor store closing hours too. EVERYTHING up to this point had caused me ZERO concern or threw any huge red flags, so I sent her $50 for a small bottle of whiskey, rubbers and whatever else she wanted. I thought, it wasn't enough money for her to have gone this far into a scam on..

As soon as I sent it, I told my half drunk self - "you dumbass, you're never gonna see that money or booze".. And sure enough I was immediately blocked/no response. Never occurred to me until IMMEDIATELY after sending the $$ that she prob had a pile of those pics ready to send etc.. Im not doing the story she laid out justice here for how convincing she was. My little head doing the thinking with a buzz ALWAYS gets me into trouble lol

Lots of talk of hood rats and people who don't speak English when.... that's completely different from the link the op posted. Seems like lots of people from lots of races can be scammers. 213674, you are lobbing names at the lady who scammed you, but fuck, that's the oldest trick in the book. How are you getting outsmarted by hoodrats and people who don't speak English? She might as well have pretended to be a wallet inspector. No need for insults... just don't send money to random criminals from the internet

I broke the rule too, just like OP. and if I choose to call a thief an insult, so be it. Hood rat isn't racist or race based at all. This was a white girl, or someone pretending to be. But it doesn't matter. There's multiple spins on the deposit scam, and while you thanked OP for helping out some guy in the future for the more obvious one, You chose to attack me for sharing the variation.
