Things that make you happy.

With so much of the world going crazy. I thought we should all think of how blessed we are to live in the USA. I mean the biggest problem is money and how much we love it so. So lets just name a few simple things that you happy.
For me, I love just waking up and saying hay I'll just sleep in today. Seeing my kids learn new things. And going out to eat.

Cheaper, I wouldn't thought lol. Great question....Few things smooth my soul more than music, my childern's phone calls,noticing the moon in the sky & yes I love a good burger&fries lol.

Let me see, My children telling me they love me, My friends, Cant forget football lol oh and Chocolate... For me it seems like it's the little things in life that mean the most.

My pets, family, music, books, wine and my friends. Can't forget my toys, those are a must in keeping me happy. Along with my heels, purses and perfumes.

Just being able to do what I love. Having good friends and loved ones. Reading a good book. A delicious tasting wine. Trying new things. I love going on adventures.
In fact it's much easier to find things that make me happy than figuring out which things make me UNhappy. LOL.
No matter how bad you think your life is, there is always someone out there that has it worse.

Meeting humble people makes me happy. Always has. Perhaps it's just rare enough to be suspicious. Nonetheless...

Watching my little girl pick a dandylion and shake it making the seeds fly around while she is laughing and giggling and chasing the next one. Sitting on the deck looking out over the lake with my wife and just enjoying the view while a nice cool wind blows. Telling my 85 year old father he was right when he told me if you would listen to me you would acheive a lot more than if you try it yourself. Retiring before I am 50 (selling all my stores and planning to travel the states in 2012).

I'm going to be a Grampa for the first time later this year! I refuse to die before I hear a child come running to me yelling "Hi Grampa!" At that point, I will have reached Heaven, and the state and Feds can do whatever they want.

Not married so I do whatever I want whenever I want, all the time.

I like looking up at Orion and finding Taurus and the Pleiades. I get older and my life changes, but the heavens are constant.

It almost goes without saying on this board, but I love women. Sex is great, but "a connection with affection" is the best.

A good book by a favorite author. My cat purring and hangin out with me. Birds chirping in the morning. Driving with the top down. Good coffee. Heated steering wheel.

Great question... for me it's family, football, and friends. Eating breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean, feeling the cool breeze and listening to the waves.

This thread makes me feel warm inside sometimes I want to sleep just so I can see how I can make myself happy the next day

I'm happy just to have clean, drinkable water. Many of us take the simple things for granted. In many places in the world, so many people don't even have clean water or enough food to eat.
