I have no problems with gays marring. The way I see it is if you pay taxes you should have the full benefit of living in the US. What people do behind closed doors is none of my business, it they want to marry then do it, if they don't then don't. If they have the money for the marriage license then sell it to them. If they can find a judge or priest willing to perform the ceremony then do it and live long and prosper.

I think that this is the first crack in the dam since NY is the most populist state in the country and hopefully this gets the ball rolling.
One Democrat defected but he is a clergyman and that was expected, but I am most proud of the 3 Republicans that crossed over and voted yes because they are the ones that finally got this done.

Now they can enjoy marriage and divorce, just like the rest of us. Which one pays alimoney? Or Child support? (yes guy people have kids either through previous heterosexual relationships or adoption). Whole new can of worms is now open. They can't just walk away from the relationship.
