The 59-year-old married father of three also refused to explain why he had a 26-year-old female passenger in the car.
Reports indicated that the woman worked at a strip club in Lawrenceburg.

Now, onward to the voter fraud lie! The Republicans are pushing the lie that there is massive IN PERSON VOTER FRAUD so they can pass voter suppression laws. In reality there is zero. Go ahead, find a conviction for in-person voter fraud in the last 10 years. I dare you. Even if you find one, you'll never get anywhere near 1%. Guess who they are targeting.
The video: I felt sorry for the guy. He did pretty well for being buzzed. The Indiana cop was stone cold sober and was on the same mental level as Mecklenburg. I wish he would have asked the officer if there was a Constitutional exception to the 5th Amendment and if he swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States when he took his oath of office.
Besides, an Ohio motorist can't lose their Indiana driver's license. There has to be a compact between the states and that gets into lawyers and lawmakers...which he is. I wouldn't be shocked to see a "no longer applies to DUIs from Indiana" rider in the motor-voter bill, lol.

Yes, we certainly don't want people to have to prove they are eligible to vote before they vote. Everyone should vote; citizens, non-citizens, reptilian aliens, barnyard animals. Imagine if a porcupine had to produce an ID? His rights would be violated. OK, I get your point. LOL!

If this was a poker game then I believe that LM just threw the race card. A real, guenuine, dedicated liberal would never make such an argument. It is a progressive thing and I guess we will never understand what makes socialism tick.
Just spent part of the weekend going over some old presentation notes and I was reminded of the real liberals that helped found this country. Today they sound like conservatives but the conflict comes when trying to decided when the new liberalism (progressives) consumed the old liberalism. It becomes unavoidable to attach the struggle to politics. The first great schism between the newly formed Republican party and the established Democratic party was the Civil War and the fight over slavery. The mainstream republicans wanted slavery to end but the radicals wanted to go to war to end the practice. The heated rhetoric had fostered the belief that the South had to be punished disregarding that some "Northern" states had in the past had slavery. The mainstream democrats were willingly to accept slavery as the cost of maintaining the peace and the union. The more radical democrats demanded that the rights of the states superceded the power of the federal government and were willing to dissolve the union to have their way. (at this point I must point out that in modern times a support of constitutional states rights is not the same as a support of slavery).
Later in history the democrats were willing to spy on Americans, accuse, and jail people for socialist activities under Woodrow Wilson. This was a mainstream democratic position and even socialist candidates for high office faced prison rather than be allowed free speech rights. The 1930s, 40s, and 60s were all connected as democrats worked to consolidate an organization that used tax dollars to cultivate an underclass beholden to the state. As even as late as 1972 democratic leaders were still American patriots. George McGovern, one of the most liberal democratic candidates until Obama, flew bombers in World War II. There was not question that he loved this country even though his views on economics were questionable.
The modern democrat is of two minds; socialist economic and social policies mixed with a subtle form of a darker fascism. The Patriot Act, so savaged by the democratic intelligentsia, was initially proposed by democrat Joe Biden in 1995 when there was no "War on Terror". The many attempts to limit free speech on the air waves (radio, TV, the Internet) through regulation disguised as "fairness". Americans were rightfully angry when it was revealed that Richard Nixon had an enemies list but the left today has an even larger enemies list based not whether you oppose their agenda but whether or not you refuse to support their agenda. Supporting the democrat party brings corrupt rewards to the few. NASA is stepping away from manned space flight and it is expected that the US will turn to private enterprise for transportation. Lockheed-Martin and Northup, among many, have made extensive contributions to the democratic party and the Obama campaign.

I could have brought the story of the son of a democratic Congresswoman who slashed the tires on a number of vehicles the night before an election.
