I'm not a gambler but Velvet hit the nail on the head for me.
They design those casinos to get the most of your money.
And for me, it is the sound of the ching-a-ling that makes it have that homey casino feel. But they are moving away from the coin to the paper. And the sound is something that kills it for me. Makes me think no one is winning. Originally Posted by Precious_b

Yup I agree its a dump but convenient if you cant go outside of Texas the poker room is o.k. the food is gross!

Yea, I was hoping it was a good place. It's close enough to make a day trip and be home early. I don't get the appeal of slots so if there isn't black jack and craps it's not much of a casino.
