If nothing else, I think Form 1040, Schedule C, Profit or Loss From Business, would work. Listing the business as event or meeting coordinator works; although I have heard of a guy who was a drug dealer who wrote that on the form, paid taxes on his sales and IRS did not care.. But I wouldn't press my luck there..That's it in a nutshell....you're one smart man
On Part II of Sched C, you can also deduct your business expenses: travel, etc.
