This thread cracks me up. But, I decided to put my two cents in.
I do ask for ID's and take a quick glance of name, location but most important, age. I even ask for a photo before you show up at my door. The one that I talked to on the phone, should look like the one that is at my door! If he is telling some of the truth, he can get his name right. And nothing will give you more time and attention than underage!
I do indeed suggest to ALL 'Hobbiest' to check ID's as well for that reason.
As for the photo part.... Big brother is watching! Hotel, Motel, comfy little Inn... At the intersection... ? Agencies... well, they screen as well, right?
Massage parlors... Bunny Ranch... you are leaving some kind of a trail.
Humor the Independant Provider and give the comforts of some screening info or hit the streets and see a provider whom all you have to do is pull up infront of the (? [another big brother]) and she pops in and away you two go.

I honestly have no problem with showing my ID to a provider. I did it when I started out in Jersey, I'd do it with reputable ladies here. In Jersey I started out with an agency, filled out their screening form and set my appt. They told me to bring my ID so I did.
As for the comment about burn phones and public internet...these are methods for the hobbiests to be able to contact, and set up appts without a trail leading back them them. Yes LE can get your licence plate info, but that only shows you were at a location, not what you were there for. So long as you remember to SHUT THE FUCK UP, a good (or decent) lawyer will be able to help you.

It's apparent we all have a limit as to how much we are willing to risk and both sides have a right. It's just the excuses and logic I find humorous behind it...nothing more. You obviously missed the point. Some screening sites simply require an ok as long as the guy does not rip you off or kill you...it does NOT tell you the other things I touched on. Many women are not so picky with whom they will vouch for, which is why I want more info. when getting a reference....no I can't get that info. from a DL.Great points.

Amen! It's not the provider's fault that some guys have no clue how to do research and just go for the first thing they see when they get a hard on. I don't even offer appts. with less than 24 hours notice for this very reason.

I look at it this way that a provider can screen anyway she desires. Most have posted pictures in their profiles and many have college degrees much higher than I will ever achieve. Then given that there are over 300 million people in this country, there are bound to be more than a few wackos out there. I just do my research made a few friends with other hobbyist and ask questions of other members, some reply others don’t. I make no secret that I have played in the hobby to my coworkers. If they ask questions, I answer. I never recommend getting involved in the hobby, most are naïve, and it is too freaking addictive. I am not worried about being let go from the job; I do not care what anyone else thinks. I know the risks and make my own decisions and I will always deal rationally with the consequences of my actions.

simpleton, I have no issue showing my id if he shows his, but we DON'T need to write down ones date of birth, id numbers, no address, as if you are taking a loan or something. If you are not doing anything wrong then it doesn't matter to me.. just getting a massage and setting up a sugar daddy arranagement. Like I said before, most ppl don't have their INFO updated and it doesn't matter. Same thing with a car tag, NONE OF MINE IS UPDATED.. good luck with that. AND it has my married name (i am divorced) ...not my maiden name. lol

When you check in at a hotel - you show your ID to CONFIRM that it is YOU that made the reservation. Same goes for this service. I think that's what people are trying to say anyway.

No, Naomi...thats how she does her biz. If it works for her, then Rock On. She can suggest provider's show their ID, and we each get to decide if her suggestion has merit for each of us. Thats the beauty of being indy.
As for showing IDs. No, not necessary for me - as part of verification screening. But! it has been pointed out to me that some ladies do ask for ID of every new client but in most cases, its not part of verification screening, more of a "personality" screening.
If a provider is using ID for verification - thats just too late. Isnt there a thread somewhere floating around where a provider asked how LE gets legit IDs? lmao.
If a provider uses it as, I dunno, some kind of "sincerity test"? and it makes her feel better, more relaxed, more comfy or - most important! - gets you in to see her - it's still your choice.
