It's the button that you push and nothing happens. Ive RTM'd a few things and nothing came of it.

It depends on who typed the post you are RTMing and/or who you are, the RTMer, as far as the action taken, not necessarily the "offense" per say. There are some "newer" mods now, but the guys themselves have been on the board for a while before they became mods, so they do know who the popular and unpopular crowds are.

It should be deleted in some forums. ML comes to mind.

Enough of the thread hijacks. If you don't have something helpful about the use of the RTM button, please don't post here.

I likely would be on that list. I RTM a lot of posts. When too specific location info or personal info is given, when Dallas ladies post in he FW ads forum asking us to come visit them with no hint of them willing to outcall to FW, when someone ask how to fix something stupid they said and don't seem to have a clue how to RTM themsleves.

Oh, and you can RTM yourself. If I am posting something that may stray around the edges of the rules, I will RTM my own post and ask the mods to review and edit as necessary.

And while I rarely get a personal response from a mod on something I RTM, I would say about 40-50% of the time, I can see some action was taken by the mods.

And to retort: no, the posts weren't "about the RTM function." They were about the "what happens after" or the "the staff doesn't like me so they ignore me" nature. That's not the OP's question, nor is it helpful.

The questions for staff isn't an outlet for the whining. "Questions for the Staff-Dallas Ask questions of your local staff here." I didn't see any questions there, nor anything helpful. All I see is agenda-peddling BS.

I know you are for "hands off moderation." I am too. This area should remain free of drama, IMO.

You are welcome to start a thread in co-ed, sandbox or ML that pertains to the lack of attention that some RTMs receive. That's the correct location for the bitching.

And for monk: That list would be an amusing addition, I'd say. I'll make the request!
