Colt 45's

I love the uniforms!

I heard that they were giving away some replica stuff from the game. If they did, I'd be interested in a Colt 45s ball cap. (To buy of course)

My friend is a huge Astros fan, so we're watching the game (he more than I lol).

3-1.... looking good

Brings back fond childhood memories ... Seeing the 45s playing a Saturday doubleheader against the Dodgers with Drysdale and Koufax on the mound ... Sitting in the centerfield bleachers and watching the Say Hey Kid snatch a home run away from Johnny Bateman ... and lots of other lifetime memories, including getting eaten up by mosquitos at every game

I wouldn't mind having a new 45s cap either.

I attended the 2nd game ever played in old Colt Stadium. If my memory serves me correctly, the Colt 45's played the Chicago Cubs in their first ever home series! I also attended quite a few Houston Buffs games at Busch Stadium. They tore the stadium down and built the current Fingers Furniture store in its place. There used to be a Prince's Drive Inn across the street from the ballpark! Great Hamburgers!

Remind me next fall and we can have a discussion about the Houston Oilers and Jeppesen Stadium!
