Obama's "Autobiography" Largely Untrue

A new biography of Obama by David Maraniss (Barack Obama: The Story) reveals dozens of instances of Obama "deviating significantly from the truth" in his autobiography, "Dreams From my Father."

One of the most significant lies Obama tells in his autobiography is that his Kenyan grandfather was tortured by the British. Maranniss' reseach indicates that this claim is almost certainly false.

Maraniss concludes that Obama's book, "Dreams From my Father" does not qualify as an autobiography due to the fact that "The character creations and rearrangements in the book are not merely a matter of style, devices of compression, but are also substantive" This is a polite way of saying that Obama's book is a pack of lies.

I am not suprised. The content of the book was never vetted by the MSM. Unlike Palin's autobiography, in which the AP put no less than 20 "fact finder" reporters to find the truth, the media ignored Obama's lies and bullshit (not one reporter was assigned by AP to fact check Obama's books). As they continue to do so.

In addition to the fact that Obama's autobiography is full of lies, there is a probability that Obama didn't really right the book. The credit for the authorship should be: as told to Bill Ayers. To be fair, ghost writers are fairly common for politicians. John Kennedy's Pulitzer Prize winning book "Profiles in Courage" was ghost written. Barry Goldwater's book "The Conscience of a Conservative" was also ghost written.

Obama reminds me of the real life character portayed in the movie "Catch Me if You Can". The central character was Frank Abagnale. Abagnale was a master check forger and a master imposter. He pretended to be an airline pilot, a doctor and a lawyer and did so, so convincingly, that he got away with it for years.

Abagnale was able to get away with his criminal activities largely because he was clever and charming, but most importantly, because he was audacious. He was seventeen years old and confidantly told people he was a commercial airline pilot and they believed him. I think Obama's personality is very similar to Abagnale's. Obama's resume, in no way qualified him to be president, and yet he audaciously told the American people that he was the best qualified man for the job, and he got away with it.

Obama's background story is a fabric of lies. If America doesn't throw Obama out of office after learning about his bizarre history, we will be making a terrible mistake. It would be as if Pan Am continued to use Frank Abagnale as a pilot after discovering that he was an imposter.

The Obamatons don't care about his history, his lies, his arrogance or anything else. They're satisfied that he isn't George W Bush. Never mind the country is going to hell faster under Obama than it was under Bush. They want revenge for Bush, even if it costs us our economy, our freedom, and our soul.
