3D movie craze

I saw Avatar in 2D and went back the same week to watch in 3D. Didn't notice the difference being all that great.

I would love to see a 3D movie just to see what all the hype is about but I just don't think it is worth paying the extra money.

I saw the Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D movie yesterday, and I have to say...
I quite enjoyed it.
It was action packed, had some cool effects, and not only did it star Milla
Jovovich..but she again, had Ali Larter fighting side by side with her. Yum!
and Yes, they left it open for another sequal

I saw the movie "Comin at Ya" back in 1981. It was a stupid western and the 3D gave them an opportunity to throw things at the camera (screen).

I like the joke from the Emmys; Sofia Vergara was supposed to be part of some 3D TV show and all they wanted her to do was walk towards the camera over and over again. If you've seen her and her assets you would probably watch too. Hey, she promised to streak down Hollywood Blvd if her show won the best award (and it did). Maybe we could start a twitter campaign until she fulfills her promise.

I saw a preview on Thursday of RE. Well worth seeing in 3D.

Funny thing is there was basically an ad at the end for the sequel by a lady with low cleavage. I was in the front row and I had to look left and then right to see her twins. Almost.

The last time I went to AMC 30 in Olathe about a year ago, the midweek popcorn and drink combo was $5 with free refills. Now they've remodeled concessions and it is $12.

But Town Center AMC still has it for $5! And there's apparently an AMC movie watcher club you can join online to get free popcorn on Wednesdays.

I am really looking forward to seeing the new 3D Horror movie coming out October 8th... My Soul To Take!!!
