From Ms. Sterger's actions since this thing became public, it looks like she is more embarrassed about it than Favre is. So I don't necessarily buy the argument that she's looking for a payday--of course, if a lawsuit for "mental anguish" gets filed a couple of months from now it will be different. I think it ended up costing the school $300,000. With inflation, Favre is going to be paying out the ass for this one.
The NFL grabbed the ankles when they rejected the Limbaugh ownership attempt. They bowed to admittedly falsified "facts". Now they are bending over exposing their "red zone" again to satisfy political correctness. A long time ago, men used to play football. There's a big difference between touching someone and sending them text mesages. As far as I have seen and read he never touched anyone. I can't imagine the sexting that Madden must have send Favre over the years. Originally Posted by lacrew_2000

None of the ladies filed a complaint with their employer, his team, the cops, etc. and they never told anyone about this until now. If any of those ladies had truly been sexual harassed, they would've told someone. I don't care if it was their best friend, family member or boss, they would've spoken up before now.
Whether they're looking for a payday or not, its total crap that the story breaks now. It always looks bad (payday) when someone comes out years later making claims such as this towards a celebrity.
I will say this though, she's hot and I'd bang her.Originally Posted by MsElena

If it turns out to be a form of media-enabled blackmail, I can't say I have much sympathy for Favre, though. I'm sure the NFL, like all large corporations, has sexual harassment training. The key message that I got from such training is that damn near anything can be construed as sexual harassment, and that the key was to avoid anything that might give the appearance of impropriety. Emailing pictures of one's genitals would certainly fall into that category. So if this is an expensive life lesson for Mr. Favre to not be so f***ing stupid, so be it.Originally Posted by kcbigpapa
