I'm surprised how offened some of these men are by this. It's just for laughs in my opinion gosh! And i'm sure hobbyist have said worse thins about us on this board!!! Things visible to the public!!!

have i had a gent go through 3 covers in a 30 m session, yes. i typically will only bring 2 or 3 for a 30m session. so I was starting to feel a little not prepared.

BUT---i still think what the author of the blog had to say was pretty darn funny.

People! People! Take the defenses down and simply read or don't read the blog. If it ain't aimed at you, then it ain't aimed at you. If you see yourself somewhere amongst the author's complaint's, well...then maybe you should take heed and adjust whatever it is you are reading that you feel defensive about. While the author of the blog is jaded, she does list some valid points that can actually be disconcerting to some of the ladies.

Also, please note that the author is an entirely different individual than London. Many of us read on this board on a daily basis and even if you only read on it now and again, it's pretty obvious that one almost has to come in with their boxing gloves, if not on, than at least close at hand. Please believe that she already knew she was gonna get "torn a new one" when she posted this thread. I don't think the blog says anything much different than the Letter to the Gentlemen did a while back. It's just a little more blunt and stated less tactfully than the Letter.

If all "gentlemen" in the hobby were actually gentlemen, and they each behaved and groomed in a manner that was acceptable by most, there would not have been a need for either the blog or the Letter to be posted anywhere. The author of the blog would most definitely be less jaded and and maybe even enjoy what she does as much as some of us independents do. She would also have more control over her clientele and hours.

Do the ladies realize that the gents have issues with some of us? Yes. Hopefully we do not let the complaints that do not to apply to us upset us either.

There are a lot of truths in what the girl said in that blog. Too many of us ladies are always talking about what that gal posted in our own private areas on this board. Did the blogger come off a bit abrasive, sure she did. No one wants to acknowledge the obvious things she did state in that blog that are so true.

Nothing in life is perfect.
When providers feel like that, they should leave the business. If all a provider can think about with 2 free hours is that rant, she has more problems than the hobby. That rant is not descriptive of most hobbyist......maybe a few.

I agree that this is much ado about nothing. However, such is the risk when you generalize. No amount of disclaimers is going to change that.

Think of this way. I've been robbed, scammed, lied to, b&s'd, nc/ns'd, unappreciated, badmouthed, etc. I've met girls with unkempt girly things that smelled like cat food, and girls obviously a day or two into their period. I've walked in to find used condoms on the floor, no clean towels, and even bare mattresses. It's part of the hobby. However, if I came on here with a "Ladies, get your acts together, you charge way too much and don't give me the service I expect" rant, I doubt prefacing it with "don't worry if it doesn't apply to you" would make it flame retardant. It's just a little offensive no matter how you spin it.

Also, the OP's "some of you guys better wake up" follow up to the link didn't exactly help matters, as it sounds very condescending, like a lesson. And what grown up likes a lesson?

I personally wasn't offended by the post and I feel for any provider that may have to endure poor behavior. My only beef is that the issue goes both ways and providers are not immune from poor behavior or hygiene. A bash-fest is a bash-fest, if you can't see both sides of the argument, it shows bias.

Challenge: If I can be accused of any of the poor behavior in the linked thread, I challenge any provider whom I have seen personally to come here and publically humiliate me since none have said anything in private. This is not an invitation for a provider I haven't seen to make a BS claim.
