no blks ......hmmmmm?

This reminds me of a scene in one of my favorite movies "Full Metal Jacket" where the Asian hooker tells eightball she doesn't sleep with soul brothers because they pack too much meat.

I personally would find it offensive if someone would not see me based on the color of my skin so I understand where the African American guys are coming from. But on the other hand I also believe everyone is entitled to deiced for themselves who they will or will not see based on whatever reasons they choose, even if they exclude an entire race. Its unfortunate as I personally know many decent black men that suffer because of the thug/Gangsta stereotype that most people project on African American men, and not just in the hobby. No they face it in every facet of life.

Yes, not many people believe in the old judging books by covers adage. Hell, the way I dress would make you think I'm going to rob you, but I'm probably the biggest dork you'll ever meet. Hence the ninja turtle graffiti in my avatar.

You've seen me on the street? Why didn't you say hi girl?!?

Seriously, they may be cutting off a large market share, but obviously it must not be impacting them enough for them to be able to choose who they prefer to see. Nothing to do with them being dumb.
I prefer to see women who weigh less than me. That's my choice. There are very many nice, sexy larger women out there, but it doesn't make me dumb because I've limited my choices due to personal tastes in who I prefer to see. It gets old when others play the race card every time a gal states that she doesn't see AA men. I'm Caucasian and if I read an ad that states "no white men", I'd move on to the next ad and not give it another thought. It wouldn't be my problem, it would be hers if she excludes me, which also then means excluding my money. The OP must have time on his hands to care/worry that much and to then spend the time to "wonder" about the ad. This subject gets brought up over and over. There are too many girls out there to worry about focusing on the very small group of them that don't see AA men. I've seen more ads that state "no overweight". Well, seeing that I need to lose a good 20-30, I feel that that statement excludes me. What do I do? I read the next ad w/o another thought about it.

I know I discriminate when picking a provider. I will only see females, I will only be with ladies that I find attractive, I will only see providers that give the services I desire, and I discriminate by age as well, I will only see ladies under 50ish (this can be broken but only if I chose to). I guess I am prejudice and after writing this seems I am selfish too.

Seriously, anyone who discriminates in her ads like this is just cutting off a large market share... dumb asses IMHO. Originally Posted by Outdoorsman

It's not "pulling the race card" to discuss it though. If it chafes you so much to see people discussing this topic, maybe don't need to click on this thread. You have the same outlook as a lot of guys i know though. "It doesn't apply to me, so it's not important." If you do see an ad that states "No white men allowed" please let me know. I think I've only seen one of those in all my years of hobbying.
There's a long history of bad race relations in this country and I guess it pushes some people's buttons to know that even in the fantasy world of the hobby there are still people lined up and ready to treat you differently because of your skin color. A lot of people try to equate their hobby choices (eye color, weight, height, hair color, etc) as being the same as any other form of discrimination. It's not. It's a choice made based on your level of attraction, not a decision to not see a group of people because of whatever preconceived notion you may have about said group.
I know this subject comes up way too much for some people's tastes, but there are guys who may not have seen those previous threads or who are relatively new to the hobby and this forum and just want someone else's input. That is what ECCIE is here for. It's always a ladies choice to see who she chooses to see, but when we get to the point where we better not even mention this topic, there's something wrong.

Oops, I forgot to add in response to MRbig's original point that there actually are some ladies (Blk, white, and other) who may not have the best intentions whether it's bad service or outright robbery who do feel it's less dangerous to steal from white guys as opposed to blk guys.

what is the world coming to ......I thought Santa clause was a blk man ...lol
I think everyone should be allowed their preference. I don't think immediately jumping to a conclusion as to why some don't see a particular type is...well...not all that smart, honestly.

Maybe providers's boyfriends/pimps/managers/SO's don't want the provider to see black men.
OR....... maybe the providers just doesn't want to.

(before anybody starts - I am an equal opportunity hedonist.)

Honestly, I think this is more mainstream in other regions and yes possibly in "less than independent" circumstances. But it is their choice. I may or may not agree with it, but I do support their right to choose.

Discrimination of any type for any reason just pisses me off.
