All he did was edit out a word that we are not allowed to use. We still can discuss it without having to write it. What is the big fuss? I thought this was a private board?

It is a private board...to be run however the owner(s) see fit. Given that they have a rather extensive rules section, it ought to be relatively easy to discern their wishes. However, I'm still looking for where it says that a word - any word - can't be used at all...in any context. There are definite rules against referring to any board member or a group in such a derogatory manner...absolutely! That simply didn't happen in this instance.
I remember beinng banned from another private board .....a form of censorship if you will and dg and Sys seemed to agree with that. I don't want to rehash the past but at least you are not being accused of something you did not do or intend. Be thankful we have American Mod's and not some Canadian!

I didn't agree with your banning then...I wouldn't have banned you where I in their position. I merely agreed that, under the circumstances, they were w/in their prerogative to ban you should they choose to do so.

As a rule, I do get a little annoyed at "drive by" moderating when it occurs. But, it's certainly DeD's prerogative to do so...I just don't have to agree with it or like it.
The n word did not come up in those discussions....DED and I have went round and round over this issue. He plays fair in this regard.
