Gaddafi did do one thing - He united all of Lybia's tribes. The only quick fix I see is hand picking a few strong "ground troops" working in conjunction with a few of our elite teams and planning a "surgical strike" and wiping out his entire line....NOT without another leader ready to take his place.....I see the quick fix is to leave this alone. Syria’s is in the process of destabilizing, Egypt is no in the hands of the military, we’re occupying Iraq and Afghanistan, Libya is what it is, what’s next? Are we going to occupy the whole area? It’s none of our business. The most tactical of all these countries is Egypt and we just let that happen.
There was one HUGE tactical error in Egypt...We had no puppet regime ready to take over the post right away, creating a vacuum for power hungry clerics....I wish that Google guy would step up to the plate....CIA should get their asses in gear and kidnap his family and force him to do it....Hold them in the Royal Palace....How bad can it be? I don't think Egypt "just happened". I think there are always operatives ready to act and influence upon request from Langley....
