No. I've just done a more in depth analysis. You'll see. Originally Posted by 1pittsburgh

I forgot to mention it because you just made it up! Why make shit up?

Stats vs. Niners:
KP 232 yards 67.4 completion percentage 68.4 passer rating
PJ 192 yards 52.9 completion percentage 45.2 passer rating

Hence the old adage: stats are for losers

Garbage time can make a stat line look great. Stats only tell a small part of the story. The kid from Cleveland looked much, much better than KP did against the 9ers.
I watched the game. That's not true. Cleveland's defense won the game.
But PJ played very well against them, for the most part. Got points when he needed to. And KP looked like shit against them, for the most part.

So far Kenny Pickett is the only QB to throw for 200 or more yards against the Browns defense, and they have faced Brock Purdy, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson.

That’s a lot of three and outs. They’ll be out of gas by week 10 at this rate. I guess you missed that in your “in-depth” analysis.
Out of gas? What does that mean?

My in-depth analysis looks at more than just the basics that you look at. It's prudent to look at the strength of the defenses a QB has gone up against.

When KP throws for over 300yrds, 3 TDS and 30pts, I’ll pop a bottle of champagne. Not two hundred yards and 12pts.

I find it hard to criticize most players under this coaching staff. When you look at recent history and how many players they have developed vs how many have regressed, they don't seem too good at their jobs, and I don't think that will change until Tomlin is gone along with the rest of his staff.

You'll be popping your bottle. Hopefully it's something good like La Grande Dame.
