I’m intrigued by the Monday night game. Not quite Bud Adams vs Chuck Noll, but if I squint I can pretend.

Wtf was I thinking invoking Bud Adams name? I meant Bum Phillips.

“…and next year, we will kick the damn thing in!”

Of course, we never did.

Bud Adams was the owner and founder of the Houston Oilers so you aren't wrong for thinking of him.

The biggest slap in the face to Houston Oilers fans is they never got to the Super Bowl while in Houston from 1960-1996 and then they move to Tennessee in 1997 as the Titans and they make it to the Super Bowl in their second year.

That was the game the Titans lost to the Rams known as "One Yard Short" or "The Tackle"

Yeah, I don’t count that. They should have been forced to leave their name and records in Houston like the Browns had to do.

Whoa. Raiders just fired Pete Carroll. I thought he would get a bit more time to turn that thing around.

I just came to post it.

The guy only been there one year, it takes more than one year to turn a team around.

So the Raiders will be looking for a new head coach for the 3rd year in a row.

Any team that can't plant root and keep changing home, I don't expect them to win.

The Raiders have moved three times: from Oakland (1960-1981) to Los Angeles (1982-1994), then back to Oakland (1995-2019), and finally to their current home in Las Vegas (2020-present). They started in Oakland, moved to LA for 13 seasons, returned to Oakland for 25 seasons, and relocated to Las Vegas in 2020

They haven't had a consistent winning seasons since the 60's, 70's and 80's especially those winning years after the legendary John Madden and under Tom Flores

Jesus Christ!

Baltimore Ravens fire John Harbaugh after 18 years as head coach.

Jerry Jones should be wise to hire him!

I’m less interested in a head coaching move and more interested in Jerry acting like an engaged GM for a change. Not waiting two weeks to fire Eberflus was a good start. Let’s see if he continues with a sense of urgency or starts fiddling with his dick again like he usually does.
