I am a low volume provider who sees only one client per day and usually only three or four per week. Most of my clients see me regularly. Anywhere from once a month to once a week. We go out for drinks or dinner off of the clock and talk about life. Sometimes it's about his work or his wife or the topics can be lighter and more playful. I have met several providers who are genuinely happy to spend additional time with me, either after the session just talking or just meet for lunch or dinner without any donation. Of course these are women I have seen several times and we know each other quite well.
