So about Donald Sterling....

I wanna know why she isn't in trouble for leaking a private recorded conversation. She will get famous and rich over all of this and I think that's f'd up as much as what he said.
I don't agree with his comments but feel free speech should prevail as well as capitalism. I don't think he should have to sell the team, let things fall where they may, it's called consequences. If he stays, who is going to play for a guy like that? What will the future value of the team be worth.

It's a private organization with a contract that he signed. Originally Posted by dbeartx

13d of the NBA Constitution and By-Laws doesn't cover private speech. That's not "fail to fulfill its contractual obligation." I thought they might try to backdoor it through 13a (willful violation of basically anything ever) and Sterling would win in a court.

However, if he refused to pay the fine, he's out.

Two Billion = a hell of a golden parachute! I wonder what that franchise will be worth in twenty years?

And now I can't wait to see what those four PI firms discover. This might get juicy!

Didn't Mark Cuban have the NBA investigated a few years back?? I remember something about that. The PI (who was retired FBI) found some really foul shit and said that Cuban would win in court but he'd be killing the golden goose at the same time.
