I have had the privilege of drinking beer all over the world. Must say Europe has some of the best brews I've ever had followed by some Asian brews. Craft beers are in a other class as far as I'm concerned

Its cheaper because AB repositioned it to have more of an effect in the value segment rather than be an afterthought in the high end segment. AB was losing share to competitive value brands and Busch and Natural along with Bud Ice could have used another brand to help. Hipsters were flocking to Pabst so AB moved Rolling Rock to value pricing. In some US markets its still priced at parity to Budweiser.
