P411's new policies and pricing changes to enforce said policies... Good, bad, indifferent?

Yes...... , it's not free to the Providers at all Originally Posted by muffin101

95% of providers have never spent a single penny on the site, and we like it that way! However, we do not appreciate the ones who abuse the free/cheap nature of the site. Unfortunately, these changes affect everyone who takes advantage of the additional advertising, not just the bad eggs.

Always,
Gina
Thank you Gina for clearing that up, and thanks for a great tool! The cost of my lifetime membership was more than worth it!
Just noticed today a new change in P411.

"Summit your Ad to be reviewed"

Please allow up to 2 business days for us to review your Ad and approve for placement on the Ad Board. You will be notified via email once the process is complete:

I can understand that these ads need to be reviewed due to the change in wording our ads. But 2 business days? Is there not an easier way to knock off those providers who keep f'king up so the rest of us don't suffer?
The "easier" way would be for the sit to have more paid staff. That is a rather large expense.....

Even if Gina brought in a programmer to create a program to "read" ads and flag the ones that might be questionable (key words and use of symbols) so the staff can just view the ones that cause a problem...it still might drive up the cost of doing business more than she would like.
For me, I just didn't like the recent price ($$) hike, or the lack of acknowledgement for being their regular and loyal customer. There use to be incentives for "repeating" and multiple year business renewals. And I loved that, when someone rewards me for being their customer, I stay their customer!!
However, having said that, P411 has almost always guaranteed me a clean bill of health (pun intended) with the providers. I can be talking to someone on ECCIE and all I have to tell them is that I'm on P411, send them a PM, and I'm as good as Gold (assuming they also are members).
And although as time passes, and the provider may "drop" off the boards, the "P411 OK" remains on file. That's really sweet.
Additionally, I understand that when you have the best game in town you need to take advantage of that edge so to speak. So P411 is taking advantage of it. However, it is that exact mentality that can create fertile grounds needed for competition to step in and wipe out that edge you once had. I mean really who is in competition with P411? No One. It's easier (and less expensive) to keep your old customers then it is to "start over". So once customers start complaining you normally have someone (a friend of the existing management) step in and try to jockey the existing customers away. That's always been my experience in business. I mean look at pricing for services for example...........their are a few providers that are honoring rates that go waaaaaaaaaayyyyy back. I wouldn't dare think of leaving them. So yeah, I just am a little unhappy with the price increase and the lack of acknowledgement to their loyal "Base". And by the way, don't get me wrong, I feel they (P411) are/is worth every single penny for what they provide.. It's over the top......
The classy way they present themselves not only reflects back on the "who" of who I'm doing business with, but also pulls their providers into a more favorable light. An example would be someone like "WQ" or "CF" or "A" or "SG". These are some seriously classy high end providers. They are seen in the same "line up" and in the same "format" as some "not so(as) nice" ladies. So you see , P411 is doing that for them.
How did this response get so long? I'll stop while I'm ahead.
Too Late?
Now, that the ad board has been retired, how does this change anyone's view?

From just a hobbyist perspective, I still use P411 to supplement and see what about who and who's new. I just renewed for another year.

I use P4 to get easy access to see ladies. Usually get quick response for date request. Also some offer discounts through P4

Use ECCIE for ads, pics, opportunities and read reviews to confirm activities.

Only issue is if provider is not on ECCIE.

I let my membership lapse. I didn't see the value at the time my renewal was due.

I am new and found that site before this. For me, the pricing led me to search for other places that led me here. Now, being verified there first would have made introductions here easier, but there are ways around that....
I think it sucks that a handful of whiny providers ruined it for everyone.
I used it to determine which providers were actually working, so I could get a reply quicker.
