Do you trust agencies?

IMO, the only thing good about using an agency is that you can actually talk to someone and set up an appointment with one phone call. Sorry ladies, but some of you are a royal pain in the ass to deal with. Half of you don't ever respond to phone calls, texts, or emails. I guess if you have enough business, you can afford to blow off potential clients. And, when you do respond, you each have your own unique (archaic, bizarre) vetting system that often requires an additional days worth of screwing around before actually getting down to setting up a time and place. I'm 100% for keeping you safe, but I think you should all agree on one vetting system (one that doesn't require phoning a bunch of previous providers), and stick with it. I travel often and EECIE is not widely used all around the country. I don't want to have to jump through a bunch of newbie hoops, just because I choose to see a provider here in Texas.

Back in the ASPD days mostly all I ever used was agencies because of the convenience but then after the Executive raid/scare I backed away from them completely.
Then came the whole Marco nightmare and now most recently this new SGBJ bust.

It seems at least once every couple of years there is a new agency related scare.

It only takes one pissed off agency girl to get an investigation going or get some vengeful pimp to post RW client info online.

It's true that agencies are much less hassle to book with but they also make a much bigger target.

Has this series of events influenced your decision to use agencies or not? Originally Posted by Windinhishair

FWIW, agencies (and spas) almost always have more than one or two providers on duty or available at any one time, giving thrill seekers options that they cannot find elsewhere.
Conspicuously absent from your otherwise astute observation is "hobbyists".

I don't trust agencies or indies. Both would roll on your ass in a heartbeat if it meant saving their own skin. Originally Posted by Little Monster

Trusting someone not to do something malicious is one thing; believing they will keep their communications and any records secure is something else.

I suspect agencies are more likely to keep records to bargain with in case it goes south. And agencies may be a bigger target - the 3 Cs and all.

Still, I use a burner phone and my go to option is an agency that operates out of an apartment complex just over 1 mile away. It's a bargain, and 10 minutes away. I just hope I am not there if it gets busted.

I've never had an agency girl call my wife because an agency girl doesn't know who the fuck I am.

Unfortunately indies know everything about you, and the hobby being what it is it's only a matter of time before a twisted provider will look up your wife, your employer, your kids.

Forget about LE in this issue. It's the other vulnerabilities that can hurt you. Originally Posted by pussycat

If you walk into an amp they know nothing about you but you're all over their camera system. An Indy should know nothing beyond a couple refs and a handle if they screen. An agency may or may not screen.

Hell no to agencies, too many connections with past or present characters who pose a risk and more likely to get raided.
