A bit of comic-nerd trivia....Joan, a British-born scarlet-haired beauty and former model, was Stan's inspiration when he and Jack Kirby crafted Peter Parker's (Spider-Man) love interest, Mary Jane Watson. And now....you know...the rest of the story.....

Also a Werewolf in London vibe with Tom talking to his dead friend.
Just too much unoriginal writing.

+1 on what someone said about seeing Wonder Woman on the big screen...some pretty good sexual humor too.

I thought The Conjuring 2 was pretty good, some goofy humor thrown in but purdy fucking scary.(ive had an entity in my house and believe in " other forces" out there)

Yeah mummy sucked at the end, just didn't like the ripoff story line.

Spiderman was okay, seems like these movies are into the millennial vibe. Should be called spiderboy.

I liked keatons performance though. Made me want to watch birdman again.

Wonderwoman was okay too. Ogling the lead was my favorite part. Actually Robin Wright Penn was pretty good.

Kinda looking forward to the dark tower. Trailer looked pretty good.

She convinced him to give each of these characters flaws that "normal people" all shared...make them more human....give the readers that connection. Obviously it worked.

And, yeah...the original Amazing Spidey was pretty much a high school loser-nerdy kid (with a very high IQ) just trying to make his way thru his teen years. Lotsa readers identified with Peter Parker almost immediately....
