This actually happened to me when I was contracting with Plaza Escorts. One of the oddest appointments . . . ever. I put the idiot on my DNS (do not service) list, and Dennis (Plaza) did too. His wife had suffered brain damage and she had fairly extreme short term memory loss . . . he told her he was meeting his attorney at a conference at the hotel, wrote her a note to hold (read) telling her to stay in the car (if she would have forgotten where she was) explaining to her that he would be right back. An hour later he hopped in the car and drove away. The poor woman sat there the entire time, and in sub-zero temperature while he visited . . . what an asshat.

Well, it happened . . . unfortunately. Some of the things I have seen/heard I couldn't make up even if I tried or if I hired a creative writing professional to brainstorm ideas for a storyline.

This client's next big 'solution' was to offer to park behind a convenience store south of the KC metro and leave his wife inside with the clerk while he visited with a lady in his truck angled behind the dumpster.

I'm not sure that anyone (at least anyone that I know of) actually took him up on that offer/arrangement.

He wasn't a poor man by any measure; why he could not arrange for care for her at home with a nurse or other professional and then step out is beyond my comprehension . . . I never, ever understood him for not taking care of business properly, as a gentleman.
